Kindling Quote of the Day
Your unspoken truth will hold you back for as long as you hold it back from the world.
This spilled from my lips as I sent one of those 8+ minute voice notes to a girlfriend this week and she replied, “I’m writing that one down.” Something I always ask myself when I’m feeling frustration bubble up inside me is, “What am I not expressing? How am I not using my voice?” Because 9 out of 10 times, that’s the root of the situation. Using your voice, expressing your truth, and living boldly in this world not only frees you to be who you’re here to be, it gives others permission to do the same.

You're not afraid of selling. You're afraid of being seen.
Who do you think you are?
It’s the line that runs in my head basically any time I go to hit record. For a long time that voice won. Then I started to say back, “I am exactly who I think I am.”
But it’s one thing to say it and another thing to believe it, so I provided my logic-loving brain with it’s favorite food: evidence.
I started a list on my phone to keep track of every time I felt from someone else, or the Universe, confirmation that I am exactly who I think I am. A compliment from a stranger? It goes on the list. Money hits my bank account from my talents and passions? It goes on the list. A friend’s affirming words? You know where it goes.
Pretty soon I had a long list of all of the love, beauty, and abundance in my life that illustrated just how true it was. This list also reminds me how rich my life is beyond a bank account. My friends, family, and community make my life incredibly rich. From that place, it feels so much simpler to show up with ease.
Because “selling” is icky. I totally get it and agree.
I never sell, I reveal alignment, and that’s only possible because I do not move with desperation or need.
And I do not move with desperation because Reiki grounds my spirit in gratitude, and my Exactly Who I Think I Am list grounds my mind in evidence that I am a well-resourced woman.
Try this today: Start your Exactly Who I Think I Am list today. Bank as many additions to the list from the last few days as possible. Then add to it daily as more encounters, affirmations, and wins come your way. Let me know how this impacts you, truly. There’s a real gal behind these newsletters and I’d love to hear your wins.

The Pyre Proof Podcast – Our second guest!

Ifetayo White
The first episodes of The Pyre Proof Podcast drop October 28, 2026! Here’s a bit about our second guest, Ifetayo White, the founder of The Lowcountry School of Reiki on St. Helena Island (and my beloved Reiki teacher and mentor).
“Once one of us says yes to a different way, it affects seven generations behind us and seven generations before us.”
Tune in to hear how Ifetayo went from a little girl who stuttered and hid to a woman who's no longer afraid of the fire, plus her simple glass-of-water image for how Reiki clears what's clouding you. It's a tender conversation about trees, turtles, and a name that found her, and about building a life slow enough to actually feel it.
That’s it for this week.
Keep showing up for yourself, your community, and your world. When you do, you give other people permission to do the same.
- Epiphany, your worthy witch
